Job Description
impact.com is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure high-quality software delivery through automated regression and detailed test plans. This role offers the opportunity to influence software quality at every stage of feature delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with software Development Engineers and Product Managers to understand requirements and develop appropriate test plans and test cases.
Responsibilities include:
- Automation Testing
- Creating, configuring, and maintaining automated regression tests
- Test Planning & Analysis of Requirements
- Sign-off on manually scripted test cases
- Review and action pull requests
- Defect Management
- Reporting and tracking test metrics
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of computer programming and software development
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests
- Creative thinking skills and detail-oriented personality
- Excellent communication skills
- At least 3 years experience in SDLC
- Bachelor's Degree/BTEC or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of experience in developing RESTful APIs
- At least 3 years of test automation experience with Selenium, Jasmine, POM, Cucumber
- Certified in Java, Spring or AWS technologies (Pref)
