Job Description

Elite Technology is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to drive quality and testing strategies. The candidate will lead testing efforts, mentor junior engineers, and own the test architecture. This role requires expertise in test automation, continuous improvement, and a strategic approach to quality across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead test strategy and execution for major releases and complex features.
  • Architect, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks.
  • Drive quality standards, enforce best practices, and guide team members in test methodology.
  • Act as a primary liaison with product managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on complex issues and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, facilitating training and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to enhance testing processes and tools.
  • Define and track quality metrics to continuously improve testing outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in quality assurance activities.
  • 5+ years of experience in test automation.
  • Expertise in .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, API development, .NET Core).
  • Experience in constructing automations for web applications, console applications, Windows forms applications, and/or cloud infrastructure deployments.
  • Deep understanding of Selenium or equivalent testing framework.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with Azure cloud platform and cloud-native design principles.
  • Experience with relational database technologies, particularly Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Azure DevOps & Azure DevOps Pipelines (CI/CD).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Solid foundation in crafting clear, concise, and thorough test plans and test cases.
