Anthropic is seeking a Machine Learning Systems Engineer to join the Horizons team, which focuses on reinforcement learning research and development. The engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining the foundational systems that enable Anthropic's AI research. This role involves close collaboration with researchers and engineers to develop robust infrastructure for large language model training, with a focus on code execution environments, data pipelines, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement high-performance data pipelines for processing large-scale code datasets.
• Build and maintain secure sandboxed execution environments using virtualization technologies.
• Develop infrastructure for reinforcement learning training environments.
• Optimize resource utilization across distributed computing infrastructure.
