Job Description
Anthropic is seeking a Software Engineer to join their ML Performance and Scaling team. This role focuses on identifying and solving novel systems problems related to running machine learning algorithms at scale. The engineer will be responsible for developing systems that optimize the throughput and robustness of Anthropic's largest distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have a track record of solving large-scale systems problems and a passion for learning about machine learning.
Role involves:
- Identifying and addressing systems problems in large-scale ML.
- Developing systems to optimize throughput and robustness.
- Working on the infrastructure that powers large-scale pre-training runs.
- Optimizing the pretraining pipeline for Anthropic's AI models.
Requirements:
- Significant software engineering or machine learning experience.
- Experience at supercomputing scale.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
