Anthropic is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Accounting Manager to join their Accounting team. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will oversee the financial accounting and reporting for all costs and accounting matters related to cloud infrastructure. He/she will work cross-functionally across the organization to drive process improvements and provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.Responsibilities include:- Owning end-to-end financial accounting and reporting for compute and infrastructure costs.
- Ensuring timely month-end and quarter-end accounting.
- Driving improvements in data quality.
- Partnering cross-functionally to build financial models.
- Building scalable processes to support rapid growth.
- Collaborating with engineering and infrastructure teams.
- Partnering with technical accounting teams for proper classification of expenditures.
- Developing scalable operational processes.
- Collaborating with business partners to provide financial insights.
- Serving as the primary liaison with external auditors.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
- Identifying opportunities for process automation.
- Partnering with technical teams to gain a deep understanding of compute infrastructure investments.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with data analysis and complex infrastructure.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
