Job Description
Anthropic is seeking an Applied AI, Startups team member to serve as a technical Product Engineer. This role involves becoming a trusted technical advisor, helping the startup community understand the value of Claude and architect successful LLM integrations. The candidate will combine deep engineering expertise with customer-facing skills to assist startups in understanding the potential of LLMs and building innovative solutions while maintaining high safety and reliability standards.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with account executives to understand startup requirements and architect technical solutions.
- Serve as the primary technical advisor to startup customers throughout their Claude adoption journey.
- Design and develop proof-of-concept applications and prototypes.
- Create and deliver technical content tailored for startup audiences.
- Build compelling demos showcasing practical integration strategies.
- Guide technical architecture decisions and help startups build state-of-the-art systems with LLMs.
- Help startups develop lightweight evaluation frameworks and testing suites.
- Lead hands-on technical workshops and code reviews.
- Identify common integration patterns and contribute insights to Product and Engineering teams.
- Foster community engagement through technical office hours and startup-focused events.
- Maintain strong knowledge of LLM developments and startup technology stacks.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles.
- Experience working with startup customers.
- Strong programming skills with proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience building production systems with large language models and ML frameworks.
- Expertise working with common LLM implementation patterns.
- Proven ability to develop technical prototypes and demos.
- Experience facilitating technical workshops or developer-focused events.
- Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong technical communication skills with the ability to create scalable content.
