Technical Program Manager, Security

Job Description

Anthropic is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join its Security team in San Francisco. The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for the cross-functional strategy, planning, and execution of technical programs that enable the Security team to protect valuable assets and maintain user trust. Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco, CA. They are focused on creating reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems.This role involves:

• Driving execution of multiple simultaneous, cross-functional projects and/or programs.
• Leading strategic planning sessions and cross-functional prioritization.
• Leading program status reviews and preparing stakeholder and executive communications.
• Managing cross-functional project teams to deadlines.
• Interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Partnering with Engineering Managers to improve operational efficiency.
• Managing change and handling risk and uncertainty.

Requirements include:

• Experience driving cross-functional projects and interfacing with stakeholders.
• Experience executing technical programs with systems and engineering-level knowledge.
• Interest in cybersecurity or regulatory compliance.
• Experience leveraging LLMs to automate workflows.
• Experience reporting on complex programs through data-driven benchmarks (SQL).
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize, implement, and manage complex programs and projects.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
