Job Description

The Student Hotel (TSH) is seeking a highly motivated Chef de Commis for their San Sebastian location. The ideal candidate will be passionate about their work and eager to develop their skills within the company. TSH is known for its fun, creative, and inspiring environment, offering a hybrid hospitality concept that includes student accommodation, co-working spaces, and various social events.

The Chef de Commis will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen operations and ensuring high-quality food preparation.

What this role involves:

• Assisting in food preparation and basic cooking.
• Ensuring accurate measurements of dish ingredients and portion sizes.
• Reacting to the needs of the senior chefs, assisting in all kitchen operations.
• Managing deliveries and stock rotation.
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene.

Requirements:

• Fluency in Spanish and basic English.
• Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Friendly and welcoming attitude towards guests and team members.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and multitask effectively.
• Flexibility, motivation, and strong organizational skills.
• Legal authorization to work in Spain.
