Job Description
The Social Hub is seeking a Maintenance Manager for its Amsterdam West location. This role involves overseeing the maintenance of the hub, which includes 707 rooms, a co-working area, a restaurant, a gym, and meeting & event spaces. The Maintenance Manager will be the primary contact for external partners, handling local maintenance and facility management tasks. They will also be responsible for ordering supplies, maintaining tidy administration, checking invoices, and ensuring quality work.
What this role involves:
- Overseeing and planning maintenance and revisions.
- Managing larger maintenance CAPEX projects.
- Performing quality and safety checks.
- Managing the maintenance team, including performance management and scheduling.
- Ensuring external contractors adhere to TSH guidelines.
- Keeping administration tidy and managing invoices.
- Staying informed on training opportunities.
- Supporting a positive work environment.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Dutch and a very good level of English.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Word.
- Relevant experience and/or education.
- A hands-on, pro-active, and structured work attitude.
- Flexibility with regards to scheduling, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Legal authorization to work in the Netherlands.
- Hotel experience and technical expertise are a plus.
