Kitchen Porter

Job Description

The Student Hotel (TSH) is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join their team in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The Kitchen Porter will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, supporting both the kitchen crew and service team.

The Kitchen Porter will be responsible for ensuring the chefs have clean pots and pans and our service team has all their glasses, plates and other items in order to give our guests the best service. There will also be plenty of growth opportunities to learn some proper cooking techniques in our kitchen!

What this role involves:

• Keeping all kitchen work areas clean
• Cleaning all cookware and dining materials
• Maintaining clean floors
• Removing broken or defective cooking/dining equipment
• Ensuring that food items are well stocked
• Occasionally assisting with food preparation

Requirements:

• Energetic, hard-working, and organized
• Familiarity with working in fast-paced environments
• Hands-on mindset with experience in similar high-volume restaurants
• Flexibility over shifts with no restrictions to day of the week or time of day
• Fluency in English and Dutch
• Legal authorization to work in the Netherlands
