Security Engineer

KAYAK, a leading travel search engine, is seeking a Security Engineer to join their team in Concord, MA. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and implement industry-leading security practices. The Security Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of corporate and customer data.Responsibilities:

• Implement security improvements in endpoint, on-premise, and cloud IT environments.
• Monitor for and investigate potential security incidents.
• Conduct regular scanning/auditing of critical components.
• Contribute to security incident response playbooks.
• Help manage and implement the latest state-of-the-art security tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or Computer Science/Engineering.
• Strong analytical thinking.
• Strong technical background with proficiency in at least one of: Systems administration, Network design and configuration, Incident response, Security analytics, Scripting.
• Working knowledge of Linux, OS X and Windows Server operating systems and computer networking.
• Experience working with AI models and building workflows.
• Experience with cloud computing and security, preferably AWS.
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response, IDS, Email Security, IAM, SIEM, SOAR tools.
