SurePay is seeking a DevOps Engineer to contribute to their mission of making payments safer and preventing fraud. The DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in building, growing, and collaborating within a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cloud technologies, SaaS products, and solving meaningful problems.SurePay is a fast-growing FinTech SaaS company that makes payments easier and more secure. They have a diverse team of over 100 employees from over 40 nationalities and are backed by leading investors.What this role involves:
  • Supporting the development and optimization of SurePay's AWS-based infrastructure.
  • Contributing to building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines.
  • Working with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and container orchestration platforms like EKS and Kubernetes.
  • Implementing secure and scalable infrastructure with a strong focus on compliance and system hardening.
  • Using tools like ElasticSearch, Grafana, and OpenSearch to support observability and monitoring.
  • Collaborating closely with fellow DevOps engineers, developers, and product teams.
  • Participating in troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve technical challenges.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Solid experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, CloudTrail, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of Python and Bash for scripting and automation.
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals, middleware, and security practices.
  • Exposure to microservices architecture and familiarity with debugging distributed systems.
  • A security-conscious mindset, with a desire to build secure, resilient infrastructure.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly.
  • A team player who thrives in an agile, collaborative environment.
  • A motivated engineer with a proactive mindset and a desire to learn and grow.
