Job Description

Blacklane, a dynamic marketplace scale-up founded in Berlin, is seeking a highly motivated Referendar*in (Wahlstation) to join its Legal Team. This role offers the chance to contribute to the future of mobility and gain valuable experience in a global chauffeur service company.

The Referendar*in will support the Syndikusrechtsanwälte in a variety of exciting and diverse tasks, gaining insights into the daily work of an in-house counsel in a globally operating company.

Role Involves:

• Supporting the Legal Team in handling various legal matters.
• Reviewing and drafting contracts in the commercial area and participating in contract negotiations.
• Assisting in the areas of compliance, data protection, intellectual property, and competition law.
• Creating corporate documents and actively participating in "Corporate Housekeeping".
• Conducting legal research and preparing for meetings and negotiations.

Requirements:

• Above-average completion of the 1st State Examination.
• Very good English skills and enjoyment of working in English.
• Ideally, initial knowledge in corporate and labor law and interest in compliance, data protection, and contract law.
• Enjoyment of working with colleagues from different departments and cultural backgrounds.
• Ability to work in a team and willingness to take initiative and propose solutions.
