Job Description
Blacklane is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join one of its autonomous agile teams. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of services that power the Blacklane platform, improve the back-office system, and solve problems related to business partner integrations. Blacklane operates in 50+ countries and is committed to reliability, innovation, and first-class service.Role involves:
  • Developing services using Ruby, Go, Typescript, and Java.
  • Deploying services to a Kubernetes cluster.
  • Working with data storage technologies such as Postgres, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, and DynamoDB.
  • Using AWS and Terraform for infrastructure and cloud resource provisioning.
  • Optimising system performance, usability, and maintainability.
  • Contributing to a collaborative team focused on enhancing guest travel experiences.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience with two or more programming languages.
  • Knowledge and experience with Ruby or Go.
  • Familiarity with the HTTP protocol and REST APIs.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems.
