Network Security Engineer

Job Description

DRW, a diversified trading firm, is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join its network security team in Singapore. The successful candidate will design, coordinate, and implement security controls, audit configurations, and design networks in a hybrid compute environment. They should have an attention to detail and understand the impact of their changes on the network and associated services.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy innovative security solutions.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of mission-critical trading infrastructure.
• Implement strategies to reduce network risks using micro-segmentation and port-based security.
• Evaluate and implement network security solutions like firewalls, IPS, and VPNs.
• Leverage automation and AI to enhance security event detection and response.
• Perform in-depth analysis of network packet captures.
• Automate tasks and streamline security operations.

• Passionate about solving complex problems.
• Experience in firewalls, client VPNs, SASE, NDR, and IDS solutions.
• Enjoy scripting and coding to automate processes.
• Solid understanding of TCP, UDP, IP, the OSI Model, and Layer 1-4 & 7 principles and security protocols.
• Willing to perform on-call duties.
