Trading Systems Engineer

DRW, a diversified trading firm, is seeking a Senior Trading Systems Engineer in London. The successful candidate will collaborate with trading, infrastructure, and software development teams to ensure the smooth operation of DRW's technology. This role involves direct communication with exchanges, traders, and developers to resolve technical issues.

Role Involves:

• Maintaining the health and availability of a world-class trading ecosystem.
• Responding to support requests from traders and software engineers.
• Contributing to automation and monitoring solutions.
• Liaising with external trading partners to resolve technical issues.
• Onboarding new trading desks, systems, and technologies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade support, site reliability engineering, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related field.
• Familiarity with trading platforms and financial markets.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Ability to devise complex SQL queries.
• Basic networking knowledge (multicast, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
