Senior Data Analyst

Job Description

DRW, a diversified trading firm, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in London. The candidate will play a crucial role in the operational aspects of onboarding, managing, and maintaining various datasets used by traders and quantitative researchers. He will collaborate with technology, front office, operations, research, and risk management teams. He should be comfortable investigating complex data support issues and developing sustainable solutions.

• Verifying, cleaning, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems.
• Analyzing datasets to provide insights and address stakeholder questions.
• Collecting metrics and analyzing data quality across different dimensions.
• Performing root cause analysis and recommending modifications to data pipelines.
• Monitoring and resolving production data issues while engaging stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and collaborating with developers.

• 3+ years of experience as a data analyst.
• Knowledge of financial instruments, especially derivatives.
• Experience with SQL and cloud storage solutions.
• Experience with workflow management tools (Airflow / Argo).
• Experience writing documentation for senior stakeholders.
• Python programming skills (PySpark, Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks).
• Experience working with Git.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
