Data Analyst

DRW, a diversified trading firm, is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team in London. The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in the operational aspects of onboarding, managing, and maintaining datasets used by traders and quantitative researchers. They will collaborate with various stakeholders, including technology, front office, operations, research, and risk management, to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.

What this role involves:

• Verifying, cleaning, and ensuring data accuracy across systems.
• Analyzing datasets to provide insights and address stakeholder questions.
• Collecting metrics and analyzing data quality across different dimensions.
• Performing root cause analysis of data quality issues.
• Monitoring and resolving production data issues.
• Identifying opportunities for improving existing data pipelines.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of financial instruments, particularly derivatives.
• Experience working with SQL.
• Experience with cloud storage solutions.
• Experience documenting complex processes (ideally with Confluence).
• Python programming skills (PySpark, Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong communication skills.
