Market Data Analyst

Job Description

DRW, a diversified trading firm, is seeking a Market Data Analyst to join their team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and provisioning external financial data, covering the entire data workflow from design to operational support. This role requires strong content insight, knowledge of data service providers, and excellent communication skills.DRW values autonomy and innovation, offering a dynamic environment where individuals can challenge consensus and contribute to various strategies, including real estate, venture capital, and cryptoassets.What this role involves:

• Providing subject matter expertise across all areas of external real-time data delivery.
• Working closely with traders, researchers, and engineers to integrate the market data platform into the research lifecycle.
• Interacting with researchers to identify and onboard required data feeds.
• Interacting with platform and data vendors.
• Enhancing the market data platform for internal data publishing.
• Proposing solutions for various integration use cases for internal systems.

Requirements:

• Experience in market data systems (OneTick, Activ Financial, Bloomberg, direct feeds, etc.).
• Experience working with datasets of any shape or form (real-time, time-series, reference data, fundamental data, etc.).
• Excellent knowledge of all financial data (market, reference, alternative, index services, etc.).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to convert business requirements into specifications and deliver upon them.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Ability to provide data analysis to ensure data quality.
• Commercial acumen of contractual aspects associated with external data.
• Experience with databases and query construction.
• Familiarity with Cloud delivery.
• Comprehensive knowledge of APIs (C++, Java, C#, Python, etc.).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
