Risk Analyst

Job Description

DRW, a diversified trading firm, is seeking a Risk Analyst to join its Risk Operations team in London. The Risk Analyst will work across various asset classes, delivering risk analytics and implementing risk data controls. The role involves close collaboration with Risk Managers to improve risk systems and methodologies, as well as frequent interaction with risk developers and other groups within the firm. This position offers the opportunity to grow into risk management responsibilities, including market monitoring and evaluating new trade ideas.

Responsibilities:

• Prototype and implement risk dashboards
• Build and improve risk management tools
• Run and automate analysis processes
• Validate and support risk models
• Participate in the risk oversight process
• Assist in external reporting and audit information
• Contribute to risk management activities
• Identify opportunities for innovation
• Collaborate with software developers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or quantitative field
• 3-5 years of work experience
• Knowledge of financial markets and instruments
• Programming or scripting experience (Python, R, VBA)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and SQL
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Flexibility to provide on-call support
• Ability to balance tactical and strategic initiatives
• Motivation to continually expand skillset
