Blockchain Strategy Manager

Cumberland, the cryptoasset arm of DRW, is seeking a Blockchain Strategy Manager to join its blockchain product development team. This role involves developing strategies to expand the customer base and enhance market presence on the Canton Blockchain. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of blockchain and finance.Cumberland is a global leader in cryptoassets, uniquely positioned between traditional financial markets and the cryptoasset ecosystem. From offices in Chicago, London, and Singapore, Cumberland provides 24-hour access to a wide array of cryptoassets.What this role involves:

• Gathering and analyzing information across multiple data sources.
• Assisting BD and management to execute strategic growth opportunities.
• Working cross-functionally to understand the feasibility of new business initiatives.
• Designing, developing, and delivering best-in-class technology solutions.
• Conducting market research and gathering user feedback.
• Communicating requirements and domain expertise to technical teams.
• Acting as a liaison between DRW business stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Managing prioritization of new products/initiatives.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience analyzing and translating business needs to create product requirements.
• Familiarity with data systems and software development practices.
• Proven leadership abilities and a self-starter attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking and strong business acumen.
• Strong organizational and presentation skills.
• Strong financial modeling experience.
