Field Application Engineer, Customer Engineering

Tenstorrent is seeking a Field Application Engineer to serve as the primary technical contact for customers, providing expert guidance and support in implementing AI/ML software solutions. This role involves collaborating with application developers and internal teams to ensure customer success and contribute to the advancement of Tenstorrent's AI software solutions. This is a hybrid role based out of Austin, TX; Santa Clara, CA; or Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between Tenstorrent and customers.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requirements.
• Design and architect solutions for a variety of AI use cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.
• Deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in AI/ML technology.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Field Application Engineer, Application Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Architect, with a focus on AI/ML software.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python, with knowledge of C++ is considered advantageous.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, with expertise in Generative AI and LLM applications preferred.
• Experience with C++/CUDA/Parallel programming/Kernel development.
• Experience in deploying, training, and fine-tuning AI models, along with designing scalable solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for innovation and a proactive attitude towards learning and adopting new technologies.
