Tenstorrent is seeking a skilled PCB Power Design Engineer to design and optimize power distribution systems on AI accelerated cards. The candidate will ensure performance, area, and cost efficiency. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and optimize power distribution systems on PCBs.
- Select appropriate power components.
- Perform power integrity analysis.
- Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC standards.
- Collaborate with thermal engineers for thermal management.
- Validate and verify the performance of power distribution systems.
- Create detailed design documentation.
- Debug power-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience & Qualifications: - Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field.
- Experience in designing power distribution systems on PCBs for high power products.
- Experience with power design tools such as Simplis, PSim, SiWave, or similar.
- Familiarity with industry standards for PCB design, EMI/EMC compliance, and thermal management.
- Deep understanding of various topologies including multi-phase buck, boost, STC, TLVR, magnetics, control theory and VR tuning
- Familiarity with PCIE CEM, PMBus, AVSBus standards OCP/OAM, PCIE graphic cards and systems (consumer and datacenter), 230V, 54V and 12V sub-systems
- Power integrity, PDN analysis and optimization
- Strong lab and debugging skills, VR bringup and validation
