The New York Times is seeking a Technology Correspondent to cover Apple. This role involves covering the tech giant as it faces increasing challenges and questions about its future. The correspondent will be responsible for breaking news, leading investigative pieces, producing scoops, and writing features about the characters, issues, and technologies at Apple.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying Apple news, scoops, and issues to cover.
  • Sourcing deeply on Apple and related topics.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as a technology beat reporter.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of how the tech industry operates.
  • Digital-media experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced news environment.
  • A willingness to collaborate.
  • Experience in large newsrooms writing or editing breaking news.
