Job Description
Google DeepMind is seeking a Strategy & Operations Principal to join their high-performing team. This role involves in-house consulting projects, helping Google DeepMind leadership address strategic questions critical to the company's success and the impactful application of their research. The Principal will bridge Google DeepMind research with Google's products, platforms, and technologies, contributing to an inclusive AGI-enabled future.
The role involves:
- Partnering with Google Product Areas, Applied Engineering, Product, Science, and Research teams.
- Structuring and driving projects independently.
- Analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to generate insights and recommendations.
- Anticipating and resolving strategic and operational issues.
- Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Building trusted relationships across Google DeepMind and Google.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of AI technology and its applications.
- Direct experience with AI-Driven business and product strategy.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Comfort working with quantitative data and structuring quantitative analysis.
- Ability to apply strategic thinking to complex problems.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proven track record of senior stakeholder management.
- Deep understanding of Google’s business and key exec stakeholders is a plus.
- Bias towards action and responsible execution.
