Google DeepMind is seeking a Research Scientist to join their team in Bengaluru, India. The Research Scientist will focus on advancing the state-of-the-art in multiagent systems for social impact. This role involves conducting cutting-edge research on multiagent systems, including agents based on large language models (LLMs), with a focus on accelerating social impact. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a world-class team at Google DeepMind and contribute to real-world applications.
The Role Involves:
- Conducting cutting-edge research to develop novel algorithms, models, and techniques for multiagent systems.
- Designing, implementing, and evaluating AI agents for social impact, exploring techniques like prompt engineering and few-shot learning.
- Collaborating with research scientists, engineers, and product teams across Google DeepMind.
- Sharing research findings through publications in top-tier conferences and journals.
- Contributing to real-world social impact across various domains.
- Staying at the forefront of AI research by exploring emerging trends and participating in international conferences.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Strong publication record in top-tier machine learning conferences or journals.
- Solid understanding of multiagent systems research in topics such as multiagent reinforcement learning, game theory, social choice, bandit algorithms.
- Experience with relevant ML frameworks such as JAX, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages.
