Job Description

Google DeepMind is seeking a Director of Product Management, Gemini Code Lead, to drive the strategy for Gemini's coding abilities. This role involves making Gemini the best model for developers, both within and outside Google. The ideal candidate will lead the product strategy, develop evaluations, drive model improvements, and partner with the broader ecosystem to identify new features for AI-powered code. They will also look ahead to new coding use cases and develop solutions for these efforts.

Responsibilities:

Lead the product strategy for Gemini’s coding abilities.
Lead Gemini’s strategy in the development of an agent to support developers.
Develop a strong set of evaluations for key use cases.
Drive critical model improvements for the key use cases.
Partner with the broader ecosystem to identify new features and capabilities for AI-powered code.
Look ahead to new & emerging coding use cases, and develop solutions for these efforts.
