Shakepay is seeking a Business Operations Manager to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining the company's smooth and efficient operation. The Business Operations team identifies and executes high-impact projects to drive growth and improve processes, ensuring an exceptional experience for over one million Canadian Shakepay users. They are problem-solvers who thrive in fast-paced environments and constantly seek new ways to help Shakepay scale effectively.

What this role involves:
  • Owning and driving BizOps projects from idea to execution.
  • Identifying and prioritizing high-leverage opportunities.
  • Breaking down complex challenges into clear steps.
  • Partnering cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and Finance.
  • Facilitating clarity and alignment among teams.
  • Communicating insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Mentoring teammates and shaping how BizOps works.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant field (consulting, banking, operations at a startup, etc.).
  • Exceptional written & verbal communication skills.
  • Strong data & analytics skills.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and frameworks.
  • Problem-solving skills with structured thinking and creativity.
  • Project management skills.
  • Collaboration & communication skills.
  • Self-starter attitude.
