SmartAsset is seeking an Account Executive to join their growing sales team. This role is fully remote within the contiguous United States. The Account Executive will be responsible for driving new business and expanding SmartAsset's client base.SmartAsset is a leading online destination for consumer-focused financial information and advice. The company's mission is to help people make smart financial decisions through educational content and personalized tools. Responsibilities: - Identifying and developing potential new clients through prospecting and cold outreach
- Providing detailed information to prospective customers and educating them on the features and benefits of SmartAsset’s platform
- Having a consultative approach with clients by understanding their business needs, explaining ROI and having a strong closing approach
- Owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing
- Becoming an expert in the financial advisor industry to better help identify strong advisor prospects who will be a good fit for the Smart Advisor platform
- Collaborating with company leadership to vet and research different strategies for generating more revenue
- Operating with a high level of integrity and able work within organizational Rules of Engagement
- Staying organized, maintaining contacts and outreach in Salesforce
Requirements: - 1-3 years of full sales cycle experience and/or in a Sales Development role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
- Experience in an inside sales, cold calling, transactional sales role
- Ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Comfortable speaking to and persuading prospective clients on the phone and making 100+ calls per day
- Attention to detail; excellent organization and time-management skills
- Team player who possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
