Job Description

G-P is seeking an AI Intern to support the development and deployment of AI solutions. The intern will gain exposure to machine learning, natural language processing, and cloud technologies, working alongside experienced AI engineers and data scientists. This is a remote-first position based in Ireland, suitable for a 3rd year Computer Science student available for a 6-month internship.

Role involves:

• Assisting in developing AI-driven solutions for real business problems.
• Supporting data collection, preprocessing, and analysis to build machine learning models.
• Troubleshooting complex technical issues about data and AI.
• Collaborating with engineers and product managers to integrate AI capabilities.
• Contributing to experimental AI prototypes.
• Writing clear and concise documentation of work and findings.
• Participating in team discussions, brainstorming sessions, and technical reviews.

Requirements:

• Pursuing Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Deep understanding and practical experience in machine learning and natural language processing especially LLMs.
• Strong foundational knowledge in statistical modeling, probability, and linear algebra.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• High standards for code craftsmanship (maintainable, testable, production-ready code).
• Knowledge of AWS.
• Able to work independently.
• Highly motivated and result driven.
