Job Description
G-P, a leading SaaS-based Global Growth Platform™, is seeking a Software Engineering Manager/Sr. Software Engineering Manager to build and lead teams of engineers. This role involves providing technical and leadership guidance to build G-P Products in collaboration with Product, Architecture, and other functional teams. The position reports to a Director of Software Engineering.
What this role involves:
- Building the team by attracting and hiring talented engineers.
- Providing leadership, mentoring, and coaching to team members.
- Providing technical leadership by driving and participating in discovery, solutioning, and design exercises.
- Collaborating with Product owners, Architects, Engineering leadership, and peers in building roadmaps.
- Creating and driving detailed planning, scheduling, and execution of roadmap plans.
- Innovating and inculcating best development practices.
- Championing G-P Culture and mission.
Requirements:
- Solid software engineering background with 10+ years of experience.
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience leading complex software development projects using Agile/Scrum.
- Strong experience with back-end and front-end technologies (Java, Spring, Node.js, React, HTML, CSS, REST, GraphQL, SQL, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of modern cloud architectures and technologies.
- Experience integrating with external systems; Acumatica and Salesforce is a plus.
- Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is desirable.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with ambiguous requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
