Associate QA Manager

Job Description

2K Games is seeking a skilled and passionate QA Associate Test Manager to join their dynamic team in the video game industry. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and integrity of game titles throughout the development lifecycle. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, manage test processes, and drive the overall quality assurance strategy.

What this role involves:

• Collaborating with project collaborators to define test objectives, scope, and strategies.
• Developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Executing test plans and test cases across multiple platforms and devices.
• Coordinating with QA testers to ensure timely and accurate execution of test cases.
• Implementing and maintaining excellent practice for QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Working closely with development teams, product managers, and other collaborators.
• Providing mentorship, guidance, and support to QA Feature Leads and Testers.

Requirements:

• Experience in quality assurance/testing roles within the video game industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.
• Strong understanding of game development processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in test planning, test case design, and test execution across multiple platforms and devices.
• Familiarity with testing tools, bug tracking systems, and quality assurance methodologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
