Job Description
2K is seeking a Game Localization Lead to own the strategy and direction for the localization of its games in Traditional Chinese. The role is based in Shanghai, China. The Localization Lead will review and edit localized content, create glossaries and style guides, and collaborate with various teams to ensure quality and consistency. They will also evaluate language service providers, provide insights on content, consult on game ratings, lead voice actor casting, and review game versions.
Responsibilities: - Review and edit localized content.
- Create Traditional Chinese glossaries and style guides.
- Collaborate with localization producers and game development teams.
- Evaluate third-party language service providers.
- Lead voice actor casting and recording sessions.
- Review and resolve language bugs.
Requirements: - Native Traditional Chinese proficiency.
- Advanced English language proficiency.
- Minimum four years of localization experience in games or related industry.
- Firm understanding of the games industry and popular IP.
- Advanced understanding of Taiwanese pop-culture.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
