2K is seeking a Game Localization Specialist in Tokyo, Japan. This role involves translating in-game text, dubbing scripts, and marketing documentation from English to Japanese. The specialist will assess Japanese materials for localization quality and cultural sensitivity, collaborating with LQA teams to resolve linguistic issues. They will also consult on matters related to Japanese history and culture, working with language leads to build localization strategies. The role requires attending production meetings and providing support to senior leadership.What this role involves:

Requirements:

• Native Japanese language proficiency
• Advanced English language proficiency
• Minimum two years of localization experience
• Understanding of the games industry and genres
• Solid grasp of English grammar and Japanese culture
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Attention to detail and time management skills
