The role involves assessing Simplified Chinese materials for quality and cultural sensitivity, collaborating with LQA teams, and consulting on Chinese cultural issues. The specialist will also contribute to glossary creation, attend production meetings, and support senior leadership.Responsibilities:- Translate game content from English to Simplified Chinese.
- Assess localized materials for quality and cultural relevance.
- Collaborate with LQA teams to resolve linguistic issues.
- Consult on Chinese cultural and historical aspects.
- Contribute to game glossary and style guide development.
- Attend localization production meetings.
- Provide support to senior leadership.
- Native Chinese language proficiency.
- Advanced English language proficiency.
- Minimum two years of localization experience in games or related field.
- Solid understanding of the games industry and genres.
- Advanced understanding of Chinese culture.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
