Job Description
2K is seeking a Game Localization Specialist to translate and assess in-game text, dubbing scripts, and marketing materials from English to Traditional Chinese. This role involves ensuring localization quality and cultural sensitivity for 2K Games' suite of games. The specialist will collaborate with LQA teams, consult on cultural issues, and contribute to localization strategy.

What this role involves:
  • Translating game content from English to Traditional Chinese.
  • Assessing materials for localization quality and cultural sensitivity.
  • Creating and maintaining game glossaries and style guides.
  • Collaborating with LQA teams to resolve linguistic issues.
  • Consulting on Traditional Chinese cultural aspects.
  • Attending localization production meetings.


Requirements:
  • Traditional Chinese language proficiency.
  • Advanced English language proficiency.
  • Minimum two years of localization experience in games or a related industry.
  • Understanding of the games industry and popular IP.
  • Solid understanding of English grammar and colloquialisms.
  • Advanced understanding of Taiwanese culture.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and time management skills.
