Gearbox Studio Québec, a part of 2K and Take-Two Interactive Software, is seeking a Senior Graphic Programmer to join its central graphics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting multiple projects and hardware platforms, focusing on implementing, extending, and maintaining core render systems. This role requires close collaboration with programmers, artists, and testers to deliver the best possible gaming experience.

The Senior Graphic Programmer will work on enhancing and maintaining core rendering functionalities, including Raytracing, Lumen, and Fog, across various platforms. They will also develop tools to support these features, ensuring they meet the requirements of artists and content creators. Optimizing systems for different platforms, with a focus on GPU, CPU, and memory usage, is also a key aspect of the role.

Role involves:
  • Enhancing and maintaining core rendering functionality.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience as a rendering programmer.
  • Raytracing experience on PS5, XS X|S, and PC.
  • Knowledge of lighting pipeline, global illumination, BRDF, HDR, and color theory.
  • Proficiency in C++ programming.
  • Knowledge of 3D mathematics, rendering algorithms, and data structures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
