Visual Concepts is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on the NBA 2K franchise. The ideal candidate will be passionate about server-side development and have experience with distributed systems and compute scale. • Writing server backend code
• Working with distributed and scalable systems
• Optimizing database connections and queries
• Developing high-performance server-side applications

Requirements:

• Proven experience writing server backend code
• Proficient in C++ and understanding of object-oriented programming
• Proficient in Python, PHP, Perl, or Ruby, with an emphasis on Python
• Understanding of distributed and scalable systems
• Experience with multithreaded programming
• BSCS or equivalent experience
