Job Description
Wayve is seeking a Field Engineer in Germany to diagnose and resolve vehicle software and hardware issues, ensuring fleet operational uptime. This role involves rapid fault triage, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with global engineering teams. The Field Engineer will contribute to process refinement and efficiency within Fleet Operations.
Role involves:
- Performing on-site fault triage and resolution.
- Following structured fault diagnosis and repair protocols.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Responding rapidly to issues within a 5-minute timeframe.
- Maintaining clear communication with the Field Engineering Lead.
- Participating in on-call rotations for 24/7 global support.
- Adhering to strict safety and compliance protocols.
- Contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, software, and hardware fault triage.
- Experience in fleet operations, automotive systems, or ADAS technology.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly.
- Capable of working closely with global teams and providing clear technical updates.
- Deep understanding of safety protocols and incident management.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, including on-call rotations.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, software monitoring platforms, and ticketing systems like JIRA.
- Knowledge of ADAS technology and on-road testing requirements is advantageous.
