Job Description
Wayve is seeking a Vehicle Safety Operator to join their team in London. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the future of road safety by testing and providing feedback on Wayve's AI driving technology. The Vehicle Safety Operator will conduct on-road experiments, monitor the AI's performance, and report findings to the research and development teams. They will also provide real-world driving examples to train the AI and support the safety and engineering teams in maintaining high safety standards.
Responsibilities: - Test vehicles across the UK as part of a diverse operations team.
- Monitor artificial intelligence and respond to hazards to ensure safe testing.
- Evaluate AI performance and provide expert feedback to research teams and engineers.
- Provide real-world driving examples to train AI before public road testing.
- Support safety and engineering teams by maintaining safety standards and reporting issues.
Requirements: - Full clean UK driving license.
- At least 8 years' driving experience, mainly in the UK.
- No blameworthy insurance claims in the past three years.
- Strong communication skills and ability to empathize.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and passion for solving problems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
- Basic navigation and touchscreen skills.
