Job Description
Wayve is seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager, Indirect Purchasing, to collaborate with engineers in scaling early-stage product development. This role involves managing IT hardware, SaaS, professional consulting services, and general procurement needs, while securing favorable terms and product availability. The Indirect Purchasing Manager will handle Supplier Relationship Management and cost control, aligning with business objectives, and communicating cost insights to leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing supplier relationships and managing procurement requirements.
- Strategic contract negotiation and supplier performance management.
- Driving cost optimization and maintaining strong supplier partnerships.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in indirect procurement, including IT hardware, SaaS/software licensing, professional services, and general corporate spend.
- Strong knowledge of contract negotiation, vendor selection, and RFP/RFQ processes.
- Ability to drive decision-making across internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in collaborative development between internal teams and external partners and suppliers.
- Strong communication skills.
- Comfortable working in an agile program environment.
