Job Description
Wayve is seeking a Technical Business Development Manager to advance technical engagements with automotive OEMs and build relationships with industry stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to shape Wayve's technology by promoting ADAS and L2+/L3 technology solutions. The candidate will collaborate with the Commercial BD team to align with the company's GTM plans and refine Wayve's value proposition.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Navigating complex sales cycles with major automotive players and technology partners.
  • Developing tailored pitches and presentations.
  • Conducting market analysis to identify emerging trends.
  • Coordinating with engineering and product teams to relay customer feedback.
  • Overcoming technical and regulatory barriers in different regions.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in technical business development within the automotive or high-tech industries.
  • Strong technical background with a deep understanding of the automotive industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across different teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a knack for identifying growth opportunities (desirable).
  • Experience with LLMs and Generative AI methods (desirable).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (desirable).
