Tech Lead Manager

Job Description

Wayve is seeking a Tech Lead Manager to join their team and contribute to the development of next-generation autonomous vehicles. This role is a hybrid position, combining 50% hands-on technical contributions with 50% management leadership responsibilities. The Tech Lead Manager will work across the research team to build, integrate, test, and scale algorithms, tools, and machine learning solutions for autonomous driving.Role involves:

• Contributing technically to the development of autonomous vehicles.
• Managing a small team of engineers.
• Building, integrating, and testing algorithms.
• Scaling machine learning solutions.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of ML engineering / applied science experience.
• 2+ years experience managing a small team and technical project.
• Experience with vision or multimodal space.
• Comfortable working with large quantities of image and video data.
• Good insight into the practical aspects of training, validation, testing, and metrics for deep learning features/models.
• Strong software engineering experience in Python.
