Wayve is seeking an Engineering Manager for AI Synthesis to lead a team focused on scaling its simulation scenario gyms. The role involves building technology and workflows to enhance the evaluation of Wayve’s driving intelligence. The Engineering Manager will use data-driven and AI-based approaches to ensure the scalability of Wayve's simulation solutions.Responsibilities include:

• Defining and driving the scenario generation technology roadmap.
• Leading technical discussions and guiding technical direction.
• Setting effective KPIs and metrics.
• Building resilient and reliable systems and teams.
• Prioritizing effectively and maintaining lean team processes.
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders.
• Developing career plans for team members.
• Fostering technical excellence within the team.
• Partnering with leadership to maintain a culture of impact and performance.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of managing engineering teams.
• Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals.
• Experience with roadmap planning and stakeholder management.
• Track record of promoting software engineering best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and grow software engineers.
• Good foundational coding knowledge and experience.
