Senior Software Engineer, Reliability Engineering

Wayve is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Reliability Engineering team in London. This role is crucial for ensuring the robustness and resilience of Wayve's AI-driven autonomous vehicles. The ideal candidate will be passionate about innovation and operational excellence, contributing to the transformation of urban mobility.

Responsibilities:

• Guarantee seamless operation of autonomous vehicles.
• Develop tools and automation for streamlined operations and fleet management.
• Develop key metrics and monitoring systems for rapid problem resolution.
• Craft solutions that set new industry benchmarks in software and hardware integration.
• Spearhead the adoption of forward-thinking tools and technologies.
• Champion automation to continuously elevate efficiency.

Requirements:

• Over 8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role.
• Expertise in Python, C++, or Rust.
• Solid foundation in cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Expertise in CI/CD processes and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Deep understanding of networking, distributed systems, and databases.
• Expertise with monitoring and troubleshooting utilities (DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Splunk, Humio, etc.).
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and communication abilities.
