Applied AI Engineer - Customer

Job Description

DevRev is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to join their Customer team. This role is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and focuses on ensuring customers derive optimal value from the DevRev platform. The Applied AI Engineering team collaborates with customers to understand their needs, design solutions, and implement integrations, automations, and customizations.

The successful candidate will work closely with pre- and post-sales Customer Experience teams, developing solutions using TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python. They will leverage their creativity and expertise to shape the use of AI, analytics, and workflows in customer processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and implementing integrations, automations, and customizations.
• Utilizing AI, including Generative AI techniques, to solve customer problems.
• Working on semantic search engine fine-tuning.
• Conducting data analysis, writing SQL queries, and building dashboards.
• Communicating with stakeholders, including Customers, Engineering, Product, and Marketing.
• Learning new tools and guiding customers through critical workflows.

Requirements:

• Software engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on coding experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, APIs, Webhooks, and SQL.
• Familiarity with Generative AI technologies.
• Knowledge of vector databases and data embeddings.
• Outstanding communication skills in English.
