Job Description
DevRev is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Engineer to join its pre-sales team in Bengaluru. The Solutions Engineer will collaborate with various teams to design, develop, and implement technical solutions for prospective customers. This role involves providing technical expertise, conducting product demonstrations, and supporting the development of technical proposals.Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert technical support to the sales team.
  • Conduct live product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their technical requirements.
  • Assist in the creation of technical proposals and RFP/RFI responses.
  • Analyze competitor products and provide insights on competitive advantages.
  • Train sales teams on the technical aspects of products and solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Customize solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
  • Ensure a seamless transition of new customers to the implementation and customer success teams.
  • Work closely with internal teams, sharing technical knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales or sales engineering role.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Hands-on coding experience in Python/JavaScript/Typescript.
  • Experience of building custom integrations with SaaS vendors' APIs (ex: Jira, SalesForce, Freshdesk, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Proven experience in conducting product demonstrations and developing technical proposals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in competitive analysis and market research.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% based on client and business needs.
