Enumerator - Temporary (2 weeks)

Educate! is seeking 30 Enumerators for a 2-week temporary position in Tanzania. The Enumerators will be responsible for collecting data from business studies teachers and students to improve the education system. This role involves quantitative and qualitative data collection, with training and support provided.

Role involves:

• Participating in training for quantitative and qualitative interviewing techniques.
• Using mobile-based platforms like SurveyCTO to collect data.
• Conducting interviews with teachers and students.
• Assisting with data entry and transcription.
• Reporting field issues to supervisors.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics, Business Studies, or 2+ years of data collection experience.
• Experience in phone and in-person surveys, key informant interviews, and focus group discussions.
• Availability for training and fieldwork in April/May and June/July 2025.
• Comfort using digital tools like SurveyCTO, ODK, or Kobo Collect.
• Fluency in English and Swahili.
• Access to a smartphone.
• Residence in or around Dar es Salaam, Kibaha, Mkuranga, Kibiti, Rufiji, or Morogoro.
