Job Description
Global Atlantic Financial Group is seeking a Senior Analyst - Actuarial Reporting to join their Actuarial Valuation Team. This role supports corporate actuarial functions and requires expertise in life actuarial values for financial reporting.
The Senior Analyst will be responsible for:
- Timely preparation of life actuarial values for Statutory, Tax, and GAAP reporting.
- Enhancing automated processes for valuing product liabilities.
- Establishing infrastructure for periodic financial reporting.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of valuation and policy exhibit systems.
- Keeping abreast of regulatory and legislative changes.
- Providing support to auditors, insurance departments, and Finance.
- Potentially managing one Actuarial staff.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A four-year college degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the life/annuity insurance industry.
- Understanding of Statutory valuation and US GAAP frameworks.
- Knowledge of individual life products.
- Experience with actuarial valuation / projection software.
- Strong communication, technical, and analytical skills.
