Job Description
Global Atlantic Financial Group is seeking a Vice President of Bermuda Finance to drive legal entity accounting and controls for its Bermuda reinsurance subsidiaries. This role involves management and financial reporting for multiple entities. The VP will report to the Head of Finance and work closely with the Bermuda CFO.

Responsibilities:
  • Planning and coordinating accounting close processes.
  • Synthesizing financial data for executive and board reporting.
  • Developing dividend recommendations.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and managing annual audits.
  • Collaborating with various teams to prepare financial statements.
  • Monitoring new accounting policy developments.
  • Developing effective communication and partnerships.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant certification.
  • Minimum 14 years of experience in GAAP/SEC/US Statutory reporting roles at life insurance companies.
  • Prior experience overseeing accounting and reporting functions.
  • Expertise in GAAP, SEC, and Statutory accounting standards.
  • Knowledge of insurance capital framework.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills.
